We are pleased to announce the completion of Phase 1 of our office remodeling and refurbishment. Thanks to a remarkably successful Kickstarter campaign, we were able to fund the entire $68 million project without selling any of the Monets or the de Kooning. They will, therefore, be on display in the main reception area, shown above.
The editorial office, shown above, has benefited from a “gut rehab,” a complete demolition of its interior and remodeling from the floor up. This new “open plan” will facilitate interaction among the staff, stimulate people to have really great ideas, and things like that.
The new office of the editor-in-chief, shown above, will afford its occupant ample opportunities to take bubble baths and relax among fragrant candles on a nice big soft chair, thus improving productivity.
The staff “lunch room,” previously a cramped, fluorescent-lit space featuring a small fridge, a microwave, and a coffee-maker, has been expanded into a beautiful dining area offering a wide range of wholesome, organic, vegan, Martian, pescatarian, vegetarian, Presbyterian, and other delectable dishes.
Finally, a new health club/lounge will provide a long-needed facility in which people can stand on their heads, for whatever reason they elect to do so.
